Research Interests

My research focuses on responsible AI that is robust, fair, and trustworthy, with an emphasis on building models whose behaviors are interpretable, controllable, and reliable under distribution shift and high-stakes deployment. A central theme of my research is the development of principled model architectures and evaluation protocols that disentangle generalizable problem-solving from data- and knowledge-driven shortcuts, thereby promoting safe, robust, and maintainable adaptation without sacrificing performance.
